Did you use to love toffee apples? They were so good! Here is a really yummy, fun and nourishing alternative that the whole family can enjoy together as a meal, a dessert or a snack. This is a really great activity to do with your kids.
Ingredients:
4 Organic Apples on skewers
1/2 cup dates   
3 Tb melted coconut oil 
Cinnamon pinch
Salt pinch (optional)
Water, as needed
1/4 cup finely chopped almonds (optional)
Instructions:
Blend dates with coconut oil, cinnamon, (salt if you wish) and water to get a smooth, thick consistency. Cover the apples completely with the “toffee” and then roll them in the chopped almonds.
 Warning: Messy to eat!
