Bananas are an excellent source of nutrition and as such, are another perfect fruit to be one of baby’s first foods.
Bananas are often called one of nature’s perfect foods because they are said to contain many of the nutrients that a person needs to survive.
Bananas contain vit A, C, E, folate, niacin, calcium, zinc and more in smaller portions.
Bananas may be introduced to your baby as early as 4-6 months old. Ever first tried banana when she was 5 months. It’s best to wait until your baby is asking for food for you to start them on solids.
Besides all of the above healthy qualities, bananas are one of the most convenient foods. They come in their own protective packet and there is no need to wash them; simply peel & eat making life easier for parents and allowing your child to know what foods they are eating empowering them to make healthy choices for themselves.
When selecting a banana chose one that has black spots and is easy to peel.
