I couldn’t share my sassy mango salsa recipe with you without sharing the best guacamole recipe out there, too.

I mean, who doesn’t love a big spoonful of guacamole on everything? I know I do!

As you probably know already, I love avocado and think it’s one of the most perfect foods available to us. High in good (body-shaping) fats and healthy calories, and so unbelievably nourishing.

But not all guacamole recipes were created equal. The food dynamics in mine will satisfy you in every way (well…most ways!)—all the flavour, all the nourishment, all the perfect, creamy goodness you need and want from your avocados.

Seriously, this is the only guacamole recipe you’ll ever need.

(If you don’t eat it all today, you can store your leftover guacamole in an airtight container, with plastic wrap pressed right against the surface to keep any air from touching the avocado and turning it brown. Be sure to finish it off within two days.)

Ready? Set… Let’s get nourished!

Sexy, slimming guacamole perfection:

Simple, Slimming Ingredients

  • 4 perfectly ripe avocados
  • 1 luscious tomato, roughly chopped
  • 1/8 cup chopped green chiles (optional, for those who like it hot)
  • A cheeky squeeze of fresh lime juice

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Slice your avo in half, remove the pits, and scoop the avocado into a bowl. It should be a beautiful green color, slightly yellow toward the center.
  2. Work that avocado with a fork until it’s smooth and creamy. Resist the urge to eat it just like that.
  3. Add the rest of your ingredients and give it a last stir.
  4. Serve immediately and savour the fresh, perfect taste of this slimming guacamole!

(Enjoy with corn tortillas, a Mexican-inspired dish, or literally anything else.)
