Along with raspberries, strawberries have seeds that are high in zinc, a nutrient closely associated with our sex drive. In addition, these sexy little fruits are packed with antioxidants, which many researchers believe leads to increased blood flow to (and thus heightened sensation in) our sexual organs.

And that’s not all, hotties, because both the zinc and the Vitamin C contained in strawberries have also been shown to regulate testosterone levels in men, which in turn boosts sperm production. For women, higher consumption of zinc may improve lubrication and reduce time needed for foreplay.

Now, before you go running to the store for strawberries, let me share with you my favourite sweet and sensual recipe for a special night in for two.

This guilt-free dessert will satisfy the nastiest of cravings, leaving you and your partner feeling nourished and loved. What better way to set the mood for an evening of sensual exploration?

Bonus: The food combinations in this dish naturally increase your body’s metabolism. Most of the fat contained in cashew nuts is the heart-disease-fighting, cholesterol-lowering, healthy type—mono-unsaturated and polyunsaturated. When compared to dairy (i.e. if this were a whipped dairy cream recipe) this kind of fat is loads better for you. Cashews are also less fattening than most other nuts. So go ahead—indulge!

Sensual, Slimming Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw cashews
  • 1 cups raw fresh coconut water (option to use bottled coconut water)
  • White of 1 young coconut (option to use coconut cream instead)
  • 2 pitted dates (pre-soaked in water for 10 minutes)
  • 1 teaspoon 100% pure vanilla extract

Simple Instructions

1. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until creamy.

2. Scoop into a bowl.

3. Dip your strawberries in, and enjoy with that sexy someone.
