I have to say, if you have ever underestimated the healthy properties of a potato then look up these two things:
1. The Starch Solution- Current day, world renowned Dr recommends a diet based on starches. In this book you will learn that carbohydrates are family not enemy.
2. The Potato Diet- for centuries potatoes have proven to heal diet related illnesses. There was a Dr who we now know because of his work with using potatoes- the potato diet, that he recommends for his patients. Definitely worth checking out.
On a diet based on potatoes you can in fact lose weight, gain health, gain energy and feel amazing…. not what we were taught at school is it? But it’s true and right now there is a potato revolution happening! Just google it to see.
I wouldn’t hesitate to eat as many potatoes as I wanted in a day and I wouldn’t hesitate for my daughter to either. They’re amazing.
Healthy Hot Potato Chip Recipe
Step 1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius/ 360 degrees Farenheit
Step 2. Cut potatoes into chip form (I do chunky ones mostly at the moment because they’re faster to prep)
Step 3. Spread onto baking paper and sprinkle on desired spices:
a yummy combo is black pepper and cumin.
Step 4. Fill a deep dish (oven friendly dish of course) with water and place into the bottom of the oven. This can prevent your chips from dehydrating and getting dry.
Step 4. Pop chip filled tray onto one of the higher racks in the oven. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden. Flip. Repeat on other side.
Step 5. Take out of oven. Let cool. Serve and Enjoy. 🙂
