Tip: It is safe to steam food in banana leaves provided they have not been chemically sprayed. Bananas grown in some plantations have been sprayed up to 30 times. Wash the leaves well before using.

Tip: to counteract the drugs that dentists inject into gums to deaden pain before procedures: drink freshly pressed pinapple juice slowly for two days after the visit along with the usual fruits and three litres of water daily. This will help hasten toxin elimination.

Best when grated and eaten raw because cooking destroys the valuable water content recuding it by 75%.
